Halloween Costumes

We always try to make Halloween a big deal at our house since it is Liam's birthday.  This year I did splurge a little and bought some Disney costumes when they were on sale.

 Caitlyn as Belle - it was hard trying to figure out her hairdo.  I also had a harder time convincing her to wear her pink shirt under it on Halloween.  I should not have started with these pictures and letting her go without it at first.  She is a determined girl at times.

 As soon as he put on the Captain America costume his serious, super hero face came on.  Posing like a superhero and not wanting to smile.  So funny, I could not stopping laughing at all his moves.

The first part of October we were able to meet up with my cousin and her kids at Sesame Place in PA.

working again

Since moving to Virginia I have been working on getting my dental hygiene license here.  It took me a few months with a lot of paperwork and some money and I was legally licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Then I started looking for a job which to no one's surprise are far and few between.  I ideally wanted to work 1 or 2 days a week.  I was offered a job by a dentist that never had a hygienist before.  She was trying to fill up her schedule but I ended up working only about 4 hours every other week.  Then I found a job with a corporation that I was really excited for but they wanted me working full time and a little more of a commute.  The good news was that they did have an office really close that would be needing a hygienist soon.  I took the job and have slowly been able to cut back on my hours some though with orientations and meetings I have had some busy weeks still.  They were also able to transfer me to the closer office which should help with the commute and hours also.  I really love being back to work and having some adult conversation and doing what I love though with the longer hours it is hard not being home with the kiddies as much.  Craig has been really helping me out with dropping off the kids, picking up the kids, and taking care of them on Saturdays, which is one of the main days I work.  We are trying to find the balance of it all. 

Slacking . . .

Wow I've been slacking with my blog lately.  The main reason would be I have been working again some weeks as much as 40 hours so keeping up has been a little hard.  We have been doing some fun things still though so I will get to blogging all of them soon - until I do here is a little preview of our Hawaii trip - these pictures are from our sunrise hike up to Diamond Head crater.  Enjoy and I will post others soon!
