Spring

The DC winter has been interesting this year.  The weather changes from the 60s to the 30s and back to the 60s.  February has been more 60s and today was a very warm, spring day.  The kids and I were both excited to get out in the warm weather so we went for a bike ride and stopped to play in the park.

Ballet

Caitlyn has been taking Ballet for a few months now.  She really likes it and it so excited for a recital in June where she will be a ladybug.

Fishtail Braid

I really had fun learning this fishtail braid to do on Caitlyn's hair. 

 It took a little while but she held still pretty good.  Thank you cutegirlshairstyles for such fun hairdo's and easy to follow videos.

My Present!!

For Christmas Craig bought me a new camera I have been eyeing for a little while.  I really have loved my old camera but being 8 years old is like being 80 in human years, it was time to move on.  My new camera is also a Canon and very similar so learning the new features on it has not been to overwhelming.  For some experimenting I took the kiddies to this old bridge I found and took some pictures of them.

 Afterwards, we went and played on the playground for a little while. 

Catching up

Catching up on my blog a little - December and January flew by and before I know it February will be gone also -
A few things I have missed the last few months:

My siblings and Mother surprised my brother and all went to NC to cheer him on during an IronMan triathlon - He did amazing

Liam's 5th birthday, spent in NC at the beach house with my family - Craig and I went to Hawaii so we celebrated the day before his actual birthday - Thank you to my family for making it a wonderful day for him!

 

Hawaii- Craig went on a business trip and I was able to tag along and relax.  We had an amazing time, at least I did, Craig had to actually work -

Caitlyn's 5th birthday, she got a bike and loves it.

Christmas - We spent it at Dan's in NC - a little homesick but being with him and his family made it all better -
